The Norton Hill BnB and Inn, circa 1795, is located in the center of Ashfield, Massachusetts. We are dedicated to offering lodging from which guests can explore the diverse cultural, food, and recreational offerings of western Massachusetts.
The home provides either individual rooms with personal baths for travelers, and whole house accommodations for groups and families. The layout of the home lends itself as a retreat space for small groups.
The region offers many outlets for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, on and off-road cycling, fishing, white water rafting, zip-lining, a family ski center; Berkshire East, cross country skiing, golf, disk golf, and more. Ashfield has a public golf course right behind the BnB.
Ashfield is home to numerous artists, writers, musicians, and performers, and is the residence of Double Edge Theater and the Ashfield Players.
The surrounding area has numerous small scale farms that produce a bounty of fresh produce, meats, herbs, flowers, cider, maple syrup, and victuals. Weekly farmer's markets offer fresh produce and locally made products.
Numerous regional fairs and festivals fill the weekends from June through December.
Nearby points of interest include Shelburne Falls, Northampton , Greenfield, and Amherst, MA, all of which have fine dining and entertainment offerings.
OUR ROOMS
The BnB has five bedrooms and three baths. Guests that reserve a single room have their own private bath for their use. Guests have access to the dining room, a sitting area, a parlor, a covered porch and the grounds. The kitchen is not included. The home retains many historic details including hand planed paneling and doors, unique hardware, wide pine flooring, six fireplaces with stone hearths from local quarries, and a beautiful hand painted mural of scenes from Ashfield.

Breakfast
We provide self serve continental breakfast, including cereal, fruit, baked goods, protein offerings, coffee, juice, and teas.
Free Wifi
There is limited cell service in Ashfield. We have Wifi, and a landline for guest use.
The Grounds
We have a beautiful level side yard suited to lawn game, gathering around a fire bowl, or setting up a party tent on special occasions.
Bath
We supply towels and bath products.
Fitness
We have yoga mats, weights, fitness balls,and lawn games available.
The Lake
